Founded in 2016

By husband and wife, Gerald Raymond R. Balona and Clarise Jones M. Balona, both IT graduates specializing in web design and project management, Pixel8 Web Solutions started with a passion, a few ideas, and a small office. In those early days, Gerald and Clarise wore many hats, juggling client designs, meetings, and daily tasks to make their startup dreams a reality.

As dedication paid off, the company expanded. By 2017, Pixel8 became Pixel8 Web Solutions and Consultancy Inc. with only 5 employees. Gerald and Clarise, positive about the software business, focused on website development for hotels. Like any entrepreneur, they faced business challenges from juggling projects to financial needs.

By 2018, the small office became a hive of creativity with 10 employees sharing the founders' vision. The team worked on software solutions and expanded to security and IT hardware. Pixel8 SM Branch opened, a big leap for a startup.

As demand grew, so did the company. Despite the 2020 pandemic, Pixel8 moved to a larger office, accommodating a team of 20.

While others slowed down, Pixel8 reached more government clients. Clients praised the company's commitment to excellence.

In 2021, due to limitations in face-to-face interactions, Pixel8 Academy was born. Pixel8 aimed to deliver training for skill enhancement, opening a YouTube channel with 1.5k subscribers in a year. The company catered to school On-the-Job training needs, establishing a program allowing students to learn from home while coordinators monitored progress. The OJT program reached 82 colleges nationwide, aligning with Pixel8's vision to connect the community.

In the following years, the IT company flourished, transforming from Pixel8 Web Solutions & Consultancy Inc. to The Mastermind Development Corporation. By 2024, the office space matched the company's success, housing a team of 28 professionals. Clarise and Gerald, starting with a dream and a tiny office, marveled at their incredible journey, proud of the community and impact on the tech industry.

From humble beginnings to a thriving enterprise, the IT company continues to innovate, adapt, and succeed in the ever-evolving world of technology.
